Captain John Hornibrook has held several positions in the industry including System Chief Pilot at Alaska Airlines, the Acting Head of Flight Operations at Virgin America, the VP of Flight Operations for Horizon Air, as well as working at Boeing with pilots around the world who performed audits on Boeing customers.

The accumulation of Hornibrook's experience from previous roles, transformative leadership style, safety mindset, and ability to work collaboratively between management and union leadership, make him extremely well-suited to lead flight operations at Mesa.

His vast industry knowledge strengthens Mesa’s ability to hire and retain the best pilots and position the company for success for years to come.
