Andrew Lotter
Captain Andrew Lotter joined Mesa Airlines in June 2023 as Vice President of Flight Operations. He brings over 25 years of aviation industry experience performing executive functions as President, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President, and Director of Operations combined with experience as Chief Pilot, Check Airman/Pilot, Simulator Instructor, and related roles.
He comes to us from Omni Air where he held the same position and has also served in that same capacity twice before with Ameriflight and West Air. He currently holds his Airline Transport Pilot License with Type Ratings in B727, B757, B767, ERJ190, ERJ170, EMB120, BE1900 and has a total flight time of 10,800 hours.
In his previous roles, he has been responsible for Airlines Operations; Program/Process Analysis; Process Improvement Initiatives; Strategic Planning; High Performance Team Building; Training & Development; Ethical Leadership; Adherence to Company Policies; FAA/ICAO Compliance; Non-Union/Union Staffing; Automation Implementation; Technology Optimization; Resource Allocation; Multi-Million Dollar Budgeting/Forecasting; and Maintenance Management.
